Refund policy


We ONLY accept returns and offer a refund if the product has reached you in a damaged condition.

A return request should be raised via email to hello@theinitiative.in quoting the order number along with a photograph of the product packaging as well as product.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.
We request you to return the products in their original packaging along with the cloth bags and paper tags intact. Please note that we will NOT accept returns of products that have been used, laundered or customer damaged.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that returned goods that are damaged/used will be returned to the customer without any refund and at the customer’s expense.

Our refund policy is subject to goods sold by The Initiative directly to you through our website (www.theinitiative.in), with no exceptions for third party sales.
Returns and refunds are subject to the discretion of The Initiative.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), sale items, or purchases made through gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
